Our Business and Professional Experience team provides you with dedicated support and helps you to prepare for the world of work or the optional sandwich year. This includes assisting you with the application process, including researching and targeting your placement or future employer; writing your CV, cover letters and getting ready for interviews; as well as how to use your placement to benefit your future career. Where possible a work placement is paid.
You are assigned a personal tutor for the duration of your degree, who is advised of the assessments for each module on your course. This enables your tutor to identify and discuss with you areas of strength and weakness in your skills and knowledge set. Your personal tutor remains with you throughout your studies: feedback received in Year 1 will feed forward into subsequent years. This enables your tutor to direct you to appropriate sources of support, guidance and development.
