Why choose this course?
If you are interested in the scientific processes and principles that underpin sports participation and performance, this course, which is endorsed by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES), is ideal. It covers the theory and practical aspects of sports science, giving the opportunity to explore a range of sport-related subjects, from exercise physiology and sports psychology to biomechanics and notational analysis.

What will you study?
You will study the disciplines of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology and psychology, along with nutrition and the sociocultural issues of sport and exercise. You will examine theories and practice of performance and exercise testing, and will have the chance to develop your own research and leadership skills. You will also gain an understanding of injury assessment and rehabilitation.
