About this course
Why choose this course?
Statistics at Kingston focuses on professional and applied aspects of the subject, giving you the opportunity to explore how numerical techniques can be used in business, government, science and industry.
What will you study?
You will study introductory statistics modules that explain the fundamental theories and techniques of the discipline, from organising, summarising and presenting data to using a sample to gain inferences about the population from which the sample was taken. You will then progress to specific areas of statistical science, such as regression modelling. You can choose option modules to investigate aspects of statistics that you particularly enjoy.
See the course combinations section for more information about the different joint honours options.
