Q: Accommodation
Asked by Chloe
Hi Holly,
I have been offered a place at Kingston University on the same course as you and I have firmly accepted it. Now I am just wondering if you could give me any advice for applying for accommodation and where I should apply etc... because I am unaware of what to do.
Thanks,
Chloe

Hi Chloe
First of all congratulations on your offer! You will love the course at Kingston I'm sure!
Ok well the University will email you with the Halls of residence application if you meet the eligibility criteria. Here you can choose a room preference, en-suite, budget en-suite and so on. I don't believe you are able to choose a preference for which Halls you would like to go in, but you can see all the 360 room tours and prices etc online at http://www.kingston.ac.uk/accommodation/halls-of-residence/
Halls are selected by how far away you live from the University though so you may want to think about Renting privately depending on where you're from. This is not as scary as it sounds, I promise! The best thing to do is to get in touch with other prospective students via the Kingston Facebook pages. When I was house hunting in my second year this is what I used- so maybe give that a go.
Let me know if you would like any more information, hope that helps! :)
