Course: Bsc Pharmacology with a foundation year in Science
Level: First year
Hometown: New Haw
Other information: I came to Kingston after being employed for a while. I am a Kingston University Student Ambassador and also on the Compact scheme.
I chose Kingston because... Kingston offered the Foundation Year for Science. Also I wanted to stay local to my hometown for lots of different reasons.
I have got to where I am now.... I worked from the age of 16-23 in a job that I thought I wanted to do forever and realised that due to an injury, I couldn't. At 23 I moved into a local hospital job that at the time was a way to earn money but as I carried on I realised that I really loved it and wanted to learn more about it.
My plans for the future are... after completing training and registration I hope to work abroad.

I am very proud to be a member of the Compact scheme here at Kingston. The Compact scheme works with...
My parents because they've been amazing to me for years-always encouraging me to be the best person I can be!
The people around me-this year is so intense that we bounce ideas off of each other every second of the day!
Beaches, Skype (I have a lot of friends abroad), my sister, learning biology and chemistry labs.
"I came to uni to better myself. After working for 9 years I was tired of not knowing anything!"
"I only had the one choice to make but I attended the pre-application interview day just to check Kingston was right for me."
"Confirming my place was the best feeling-I had a lot of people thinking I couldn't get into uni and pressing that confirm button made me feel pretty good!"
