Our Biological Sciences degree is accredited by the Royal Society of Biology, and introduces you to a broad understanding of biological processes. Following Year 1 you can select one of the following areas to specialise in: environmental biology; human biology; medical biology; or genetics and molecular biology. Our Biomedical Science degree, accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science, teaches you the theoretical knowledge and laboratory techniques to diagnose disease and monitor treatments. It will equip you to apply for professional post-graduate training as a Biomedical Scientist. Both degrees prepare you for employment in a range of bioscience industries, and develop skills for those who wish to pursue research careers. You'll also have the opportunity to go on a year's work placement or study abroad which really helps to enhance your CV and make you stand out to potential employers.

Our Forensic Science degree will allow you to experience the full range of forensic practices and processes. You'll become a highly skilled forensic practitioner, fully prepared to investigate crime scenes, analyse evidence and present your case in court.
