At Kingston University we don't just follow the traditional way of teaching economics and politics.  You'll study alternative approaches to Economics, including controversial theories informed by the financial crisis of 2008. You'll be taught to challenge the usual approaches, and encouraged to reach your own informed views through reading, listening and critiquing. You can also participate in our regular Economics research group events and seminars, attend the annual Human Rights Festival and hear from guest speakers like MPs, campaigners and think-tank policy makers. From the refugee crisis, to the Syrian atrocities, global politics, international relations and human rights are well documented in today's world.  You can learn more about all of these through any of our politics degrees.
