Care leaver bursary

What is the Care Leaver Bursary?
Kingston University provides a package of support for all students who are leaving care, which includes a bursary worth £1,500. This bursary will be paid to you in three instalments.
Who is eligible for the award?
To be considered, you must:
- Have received an offer to study for an undergraduate course at Kingston University
- Have been under the care of your local authority before starting University and continue to receive local authority support as a Former Relevant Child/Care Leaver until the age of 25
- Provide verification of your care leaver status from your social worker or personal adviser
- Be assessed as a 'home' status student for fee purposes

Please note that Kingston University reserves the right to withdraw or amend a bursary without prior notification. Bursaries are offered subject to funding and availability.
