Career prospects
We'll make sure you're ready for your first job when you graduate from Kingston University. It might seem like a long time away at the moment, but when you apply for university you need to ask yourself:
Will I gain workplace skills?
Many of our degrees teach you work-related skills. We'll make sure you're properly trained in:
- career management;
- IT and communication;
- numeracy; and
- teamwork.
Can I undertake work experience?
We know real-world experience is important so many of our degrees offer:
- industry placements;
- links with employers so teaching is relevant to business today; and
- the chance to study abroad including through the Erasmus scheme.
What if I don't know what career I want yet?
Don't worry! During your time at Kingston our Careers and Employability Service will give you:
- plenty of help and advice;
- access to its library of resource material; and
- the chance to attend employer recruitment seminars.
And with central London just 25 minutes away by train, you'll be within easy reach of a huge range of employers.
