Location
We're based in Kingston upon Thames, a busy riverside town on the borders of London and Surrey.
Kingston is one of the safest boroughs in London (see www.met.police.uk).
All the bustle without the hustle
Living in Kingston gives you the excitement and variety of London life without the stress of more inner-city areas. Located on the south-west edge of London, around 12 miles (19 km) from Trafalgar Square, Kingston is part of Greater London.
Home to around 29,000 university and college students, it's a lively, thriving, student-friendly place, packed with historic buildings, leisure venues and open spaces for you to enjoy life as a student. It's also the seventh largest retail centre in the UK (according to the Kingston Council website). So you could never call it a sleepy suburb!

London
If you fancy a little more of the bright lights and big city feel, or you need to check out one of the capital's many museums, libraries or professional institutions as part of your studies, all you have to do is jump on a train at Kingston or Surbiton station and you'll be in central London within 25 minutes.

Kingston: your gateway to the world
So, not only can we offer you an education that will help to get your career off the ground, but with England's capital city only a short train ride away, major motorway routes to the rest of England close by, and three major airports with direct flights to Europe and the rest of the world on the doorstep, there's no limit to where studying at Kingston can take you!

Racha, Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics student
"I have always wanted to be close to London but still have a bit of greenery around me and Kingston was the perfect choice for that, as it is so close to central London by train but has the beautiful river Thames scenery and lots of parks all around."
Satchi, Marketing Management student
"The town itself is packed with shops, restaurants and pubs. It is kind of a lovely student city with a nice and chilled-out flair. Moreover, during the summer the riverside is the spot to be. Cold beers with friends, while chilling in the sun in front of the river – amazing!!!"
Abigail, Creative Writing with English Literature student
"Kingston is great because it's not as expensive as studying somewhere like London, but still has a lot of the things you'd find there, albeit on a smaller scale – and London is pretty accessible from here anyway! "
