John Galsworthy Building

Courtyard of the John Galsworthy buildingThe £20 million John Galsworthy Building brings lecture theatres, flexible teaching space and information technology suites together around a landscaped courtyard.

The six-storey teaching and learning complex, including sustainable features such as rainwater harvesting, opened in November 2007. Its courtyard is a social hub for students to relax in between lectures, especially when the weather is good. The John Galsworthy Building won an RIBA award in 2007 (in the education category).
