Wireless internet access

Kingston University provides wireless internet access to visitors from other academic institutions through the JANET Roaming service (JRS). If your organisation also provides JRS, you can access the internet wirelessly at Kingston University using the EDUROAM facility, which is available at all wireless access points throughout the University.

JRS also allows Kingston staff and students to access the internet wirelessly when visiting other participating establishments.

EDUROAM is accessible within the UK, Europe, the Far East and Australia. The JANET website provides maps and further details of the service.

Technical information

Prior to using EDUROAM on a visited site you should ensure that you have used it successfully at your home institution.  All technical issues should be referred to your home IT support team.

These documents explain how you can configure your machine for use at Kingston University, before visiting us.

Please also read the JANET acceptable use policy and the Kingston University acceptable use policy (PDF).
