About
I am an interior design lecturer teaching Critical and Historical Studies within Kingston School of Art; in fact, I began my design career here at the KSA in 1992, as a student on the Product and Furniture Design BA (Hons) degree.
As a co-founder of a design practice that has been involved in designing commercial interiors and furniture for the past 20 years, I have experience in a broad range of projects and have won BCO Awards for Workplace Interiors in both Manchester and Birmingham.
As a practitioner, my design practice revolves around people: how people use space and how they interact with the physical items within that space. I am interested in new ways of working, evidence-based design and a human-centric approach. I am equally passionate about the practice of adaptive reuse of existing buildings.
I have recently worked overseas in Sydney, Australia, as a senior interior designer, where I was involved in leisure and hospitality projects.
