About
I completed my BSc (Physics Honours) and MSc (Nuclear Physics specialisation) from the University of Calcutta, Calcutta (Kolkata), India. I gained my PhD from University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. My research topics involved String Theory and Quantum Statistical Mechanics.

I presently teach Study Skills as a Foundation Lecturer. I used to teach Physics and mathematics to Science and Engineering Foundation students.
Qualifications
- I have a PhD in Physics. I am proficient in generating learning materials, particularly for experiments by students, using modern technology such as mobile phones and tablets.
I published one paper with DR Gordon Hunter. It's called 'A study of the Damaging Effects of Acoustic Shock Waves from a "Controlled" Explosion on Nearby Buildings'.
