About
I qualified as a pharmacist in 2003 and have spent the majority of my practice working in hospital where I completed my diploma in clinical pharmacy (secondary care) and qualified as an independent prescribing pharmacist.
I joined the teaching team at Kingston University in 2017 and gained FHEA status. I enjoy developing the MPharm course to keep up with the new expectations of pharmacists and preparation for new clinical roles.
Areas of particular interest include:
Haemostasis and thrombosis (anticoagulation), cardiology and respiratory medicine, prescribing in older people, pharmacist and student welfare, physical assessment.
