Mentoring for students

Enterprise mentoring is offered to Kingston students as a one-to-one or in small groups. Anyone with an idea for a product, service, social enterprise, or project is welcome. You may come from any background within the university – not just business!

Do I need mentoring? Can't I make it on my own?

Starting out on a project, enterprise idea or as a freelancer always presents itself with challenges; mentoring provides support and encouragement needed to help get ideas off the ground.

Who are your mentors?

Our entrepreneurs in residence have years of experience with their own enterprises, and are here to help you develop your idea or enterprise. They are used to working with a wide range of students and graduates with quite different ideas.

What are the benefits of mentoring?

  • Avoid costly mistakes by using the wealth of experience of mentors!
  • Expand your enterprise network by accessing contacts with other people in relevant areas.
  • Can lead to part-time or full-time work.
  • Provides access to successful Kingston alumni who can offer valuable knowledge and inspiration.
