A large amount of the overall learning hours for this module are performed during the work placement/conducting of the industry professional development project. The hours must be completed up to a minimum of 120 hours that can commence following approval by the Module leader. Students will engage in research and preparation for arranging a work placement/industry based professional development project in the UK.

Students will participate in professional discussions with potential employers, project supervisors, module supervisor and personal tutor as appropriate. Students will produce a professional journal with critical reflective notes. Students will have the opportunity to critically examine theories, approaches and peer reviewed journal articles and review application to professional practice.
