Apply to give the Vote of Thanks

The vote of thanks is a short speech given by a graduate during their ceremony - to thank those people who contributed to their success!

There is only one vote of thanks speaker at each ceremony, and in their speech they would thank their fellow graduates, university staff (academic, technical and administrative), and their families and friends as well as talking positively about their experience at Kingston University.

We are looking for one confident public speaker for each of the 13 ceremonies in January 2020 to give this short speech (up to 3 minutes) addressing around 800 guests and graduates seated in the auditorium at the Rose Theatre for their ceremony.

We are looking for inspiring graduates who have achieved success during their time at Kingston University - perhaps you were a course representative, or led a student society? Or you may have achieved academic excellence during your studies or overcome difficulties, and have an inspiring story to share with all our guests, and your friends and fellow students. Or you just have a strong desire to thank everyone and fancy doing that on our stage! Whatever it may be - please apply!

Listen to Kingston Business School graduate Aditya Tandon giving his vote of thanks speech.

Apply now to give the Vote of Thanks - the deadline to apply is: Wednesday 20 November 2019.
