Neurodevelopmental Disorder

Please note: booking will open March 21st.

General information on the series

This seminar series started in 2012-2013 as a collaboration between Dr Jo Van Herwegen, Prof Emily Farran and Dr Deborah Riby and provided a platform for early career as well as established researchers to discuss the application of recently developed tools and innovative research methods to the study of neurodevelopmental disorders. The series were sponsored by the British Psychological Society, Williams Syndrome Foundation, and BPS developmental section. The series continues as an annual conference series that moves around the UK and which focuses on cognition and behaviour within and across disorders. For information of previous meetings please click here.

This seminar meeting primarily aims to explore cognition and behaviour associated with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders. This will be a one-day meeting, during which there will be two parallel sessions of talks, two keynote presentations (one early career speaker and one established leading academic) and a poster session throughout the day to allow a wide range of issues to be discussed with presentations from researchers at all stages of their careers. The event will also be a great social opportunity to engage with others in the field.

Confirmed Keynote Speakers:

Professor Elisabeth Hill, Goldsmiths, University of London
Dr Megan Freeth, University of Sheffield
