Mayor's Charity Events - Music and Comedy Night at the Rose Theatre

The Rose Theatre will open its doors for an evening of terrific musical talent and cutting-edge comedy in aid of the Mayor's Charity Appeal.

The event will feature musical entertainment from the likes of Tara London, winner of Best Female Solo Artist at The People's Music Award 2010; well known singer song writers, Aaron Norton and Rachel Rabin; John Lewis Kingston's very own Trephena Thomas, who reached the Final 50 of The Retail Trust's Search For A Star competition; plus the Kingston and Malden Scout and Guide Band.

The comedy compare for the night will be Kate Smurthwaite, who is a regular at the Edinburgh Festival and has featured on many well known TV and radio shows.

Kate is the lead writer for international satirical show, Network, and also for Britain's most popular live topical panel show, The Comedy Manifesto. This year she's warmed up for Omid Djalili and has just begun a tour supporting Shazia Mirza.

So come along, have a laugh - and do your bit to help support these worthy local charities.

Tickets are now on sale for the Music and Comedy event and are available from the Rose Theatre's box office at a cost of £10 per person.
