You'll first hear from a Carbon Trust expert on the low-to-no cost measures you can implement within your workplace to reduce energy consumption and save money.

You'll then hear about the further support and funding available to help small business to identify and invest in energy efficiency.

  • One of these programmes is START2ACT, which is funding this business breakfast, and you will have the opportunity to be one of the first to sign up to receive one-to-one bespoke START2ACT support.
  • The second is the Green Business Fund, where businesses can apply for a capital contribution of up to £10,000 or 30% of the purchase cost of the energy saving equipment.

The Carbon Trust also has lots of useful resources to help small business, such as the green business directory to help business find trusted suppliers, so you'll hear about all of these resources too.

We'll finish by hearing from our host, Kingston University, on the support they can provide to businesses.
