Autism in the classroom

Using evidence from the latest research, this interactive workshop will provide attendees with a better understanding of how autism affects children's behaviour and learning in the classroom. It will also offer an opportunity to explore the solutions that could be used to help students with autism reach their potential within an educational environment. The practical and interactive session will last 1.5 hours with breaks followed by a question-and-answer session.

By the end of the session you will:

  • Understand what Autistic Spectrum Conditions are and how they impact on children
  • Understand how autism impacts on children in the classroom
  • Be familiar with some strategies to improve learning in the classroom for children with autism

This workshop will be of interest to any professionals related to teaching children with autism.

Booking is essential to attend this event.
