Second to the US, the UK is an unrivalled place to start and grow a business, particularly in technology. At Kingston University, we know that when new students enrol with us, 60% aspire to start their own business, and a quarter of them already have a business idea. Our students have huge untapped potential to unleash ideas in markets that would otherwise not gain attention, support, or investment. Of the 2,700+ businesses started by KU graduates, it is estimated that 1 in 3 are still active.

Join us as Jo Fairley, co-founder of Green & Black's, puts entrepreneurship under the microscope and examines the roles of storytelling, ethics and failure in the start-up world. Jo received her Honorary Doctorate from Kingston University in 2006 for her contribution to the world of ethical business.

Jo will be joined on the panel by Kingston University alumni Gerald Brady, Managing Director, SVB Network at Silicon Valley Bank and Malcolm Paul, Chairman and one of the founders of Anthesis Consulting Group, as well as Martha Mador, Head of Enterprise Education at Kingston University.
