The Kingston University Community Legal Advice Centre is dedicated to providing free legal advice to individuals, charities, businesses and groups from Kingston and the surrounding areas.

The Centre provides mediation services by accredited mediators for a range of different types of disputes which range from straight forward contractual claims to claims related to the standards of products and services.

Kingston Department of Law can help to ensure that witnesses give their best evidence. The team of witness preparation practitioners is led by Pam Sellman. Any firm or individual who is interested in this service should contact us.

The Department of Law offers bespoke professional development workshops in a wide range of specialist areas including law and court skills for forensic scientists, legal skills for social workers, vulnerable witness and intermediary training and employment law for managers and HR professionals.

Professional Internship Programme

Professional Internship Programme

From September 2016, all students take new three year degrees geared to enhancing their careers and employability.  The degrees better prepare students for the world of work, combining academic learning, professional experience, management skills training and professional links.
