Bringing the real world into the classroom

At Kingston Business School, we use Bloomberg to bring the real world of finance into the classroom, providing our students with access to the same information platform used by traders, investment bankers, portfolio managers and brokers. Through the 12 dual screen terminals, you can access company financials, market data spanning more than 30 years with charts, statistics, a communications platform and current news and proprietary research reports.

As part of module coursework, students download and analyse company and financial market data from time-to-time. Working knowledge of Bloomberg eases data collection and analyses process, and enables students to obtain useful information (analyst and research reports) to include in assignments and dissertations.

Most importantly, hands-on experience in using Bloomberg Professional® helps boost credentials in the job market.

Please Note: Kingston Business School Bloomberg accounts cannot be used to place real-time trade orders or for any other trading activity directed towards personal or commercial purpose.
