Baby Research Unit (BRU)

The Baby Research Unit in the Department of Psychology studies the origins of human knowledge by looking at young babies' understanding of the world around them.

Our aim is to discover the processing mechanisms that lie at the roots of thought. This work helps parents, caregivers, midwives, early years education practitioners and anyone working with babies and children. Participate!

Bring your baby to the Baby Research Unit

We are looking for volunteers, so if your baby is between 0-12 months of age, or even if your child is not born yet, we are interested in hearing from you. Participants are babies with parents and care givers who desire to learn more about their babies or to contribute to our understanding of how babies think.
