Our philosophy

We are committed to practising 'effective diversity', catering for a wide range of practical backgrounds - even if you don't have classical or contemporary training, it's not a problem. Genres covered will vary according to your pathway but might include contemporary, classical, ethnic, popular (including hip hop, b-boy and house) and social dance styles.

Undergraduate courses

Our degree is designed for a broad range of students. You don't need ballet training to benefit from the course; all you need is a keen mind, rhythm and a love of movement.

You'll have opportunities to participate in workshops with well-known dance professionals, like the Ballet Boyz and Hofesh Shechter across a diverse range of styles.

You can also study dance and drama as a single honours degree.
