This year, student life may feel a little different to usual, but we've been working hard to ensure our students receive the excellent education and fulfilling student experience that Kingston University is proud to provide.
We've put plenty of measures in place to make our campuses as safe as possible. These include increased cleaning and a number of hand sanitising stations in our buildings, while we have also installed screens and clear signage across all our sites.
Face coverings must be worn in all campus buildings and staff and students are asked to keep a distance of at least one metre, preferably two, at all times. Our flexible approach and quick adaption to the latest government advice means students can be confident about the year ahead.
We'll be delivering a blended learning experience of online and on-campus teaching to ensure all our students get a high quality education while keeping safe.
The government has announced London will move to Tier 2 ‘high' local Covid alert level from Saturday 17 October.
The University is working through government and Department for Education advice, along with guidance from local and sector bodies, to establish the most appropriate approach based on the increased alert level.
We will inform our students, staff and visitors as soon as we have further information on any changes to current ways of studying and working.
