Study criminology and law

Kingston University's location provides opportunities to see, at first hand, the criminal justice system in operation at Kingston's Crown Court, custodial institutions, community-based crime-reduction programmes as well as within local non-government organisations (NGOs) and charities.

You will be taught by our expert academic team who have published in their specialised research areas, many of whom have professional backgrounds in the criminal justice/law system.  Your lecturing staff will make direct links to legal practice, practical examples and research within their teaching.

Your studies are enhanced by legal events and guest lectures, which cover a range of areas; historically they have covered subjects such as technology, employment, climate change, human trafficking and social control.
