Our journalism, media, and publishing courses provide you with a variety of traditional and new media skills and knowledge to prepare you for a career in these industries. English and creative writing

Our English and creative writing courses offer supportive environments which allow you to explore new ideas and techniques which enable you to develop as confident and versatile writers. You will be taught by leading academics with highly rated research publications, award-winning authors and actively practising professionals.

As an English or creative writing student, you will have access to the Writers' Centre, Kingston, our own literary cultural centre. You will become part of a thriving community which hosts a programme of events featuring guest speakers, readings, workshops and poetry festivals, designed to enhance your learning.
