Pre-applicant webinars

Our year-round programme of webinars delivers presentations and answers your questions on a variety of topics, from the application process and accommodation to student funding and support.

Meet us in your country

When we can, we visit countries around the world, attending educational fairs and working with our overseas representatives and institutional partners. Stay up-to-date with where we'll be visiting, as well as the webinars and webchats we'll be holding on our website.

How to apply

Applications are made directly to the University via our online application form on the relevant course page.

There are some exceptions, for which you apply through UCAS. They are: PGCE courses, MSc Nursing, MSW Social Work and MMid Midwifery.

Commuting to Kingston

Over 50% of our students commute to us, so rest assured you're not alone. With our well-connected campuses and tailored facilities, we're well-prepared to ensure you enjoy university life to the full.

Your home away from home

Where you live during your postgraduate studies is an important part of your overall experience. We offer a variety of options to suit your every need and budget.

We have a number of places in our halls of residence reserved specifically for postgraduate students. Our 75 Penrhyn Road Hall offers self-contained studios reserved exclusively for postgraduate students.

What's new for 2022?

Three of our halls of residence are undergoing a huge glow up and we think you'll love the finished results.

City living

Some of our students decide to live independently in the local area rather than living on campus. Our dedicated KU Student Homes website will help you find all the latest vacancies in local rented accommodation, from single rooms to full houses and flat shares.

Fees and funding

We understand that undertaking postgraduate study is a big financial commitment and that is why, here at Kingston University, we have services and advice to help you plan your finances.

Shall we talk about money?

All students are required to pay tuition fees, which cover the key elements of teaching, assessment and operation of University facilities such as the library, IT equipment and support services.

There may be extra costs which are not covered by tuition fees. These may include optional field trips, materials, specialist clothing or professional memberships. Where a course has additional expenses, we make every effort to highlight them on the course pages on our website.

Scholarships and bursaries

We offer a range of scholarships and bursaries to help towards the cost of postgraduate tuition fees, with course specific funding also available.

Annual Fund Scholarship

Through the generous support of Kingston alumni, we are able to offer approximately 20 postgraduate scholarships to UK students (classified as 'home' students for fees purposes) each year.

International students

The mix of nationalities and backgrounds within our community helps make us one of the most richly diverse and exciting places to study in the UK, making your time with us even more valuable and rewarding.

Our international office

Our international office will help make your journey to Kingston as easy as possible. It is here to answer any questions you may have on visas, housing, finance, employment and post study ideas.
