Student trying out virtual reality equipment

Faculty of Engineering, Computing and the Environment

Our engineering, computing and environmental courses offer students the opportunity to learn and grow in a real-world environment. We'll prepare you with the skills you need to work in your chosen industry.

The Faculty is well equipped with specialist labs and equipment and courses are created in consultation with an advisory board of key industry experts, ensuring they reflect the latest developments.

Some of our key partners include Google, GlaxoSmithKline and PlayStation First. Kingston is also one of only 12 universities to have an educational partnership with Sony.

We continuously invest in our facilities, ensuring they enable students to develop ideas, put theory into practice and practise on industry-standard equipment.

The Faculty is spread across two teaching campuses: Roehampton Vale and Penrhyn Road. Each campus has dedicated, state-of-the art facilities to help you build the skills demanded for your future career.

Our facilities include wind tunnels, a flight simulator, Learjet plane, Centre for Augmented and Virtual Reality Environments, geotechnical and hydraulics testing facilities and much more.
