Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) studentship opportunities

Funding in Kingston School of Art and the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences

Kingston University is a member of two consortia that have been awarded a total of £15.9m by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to fund more than 200 postgraduate students in London and the South East. The two Doctoral Training PartnershipsTECHNE – and the London Doctoral Design Centre (LDOC) bring together leading academic institutions, cultural organisations and industry partners to provide innovative postgraduate training and support for the next generation of researchers. Read the full story.

Timings for the 2019 competition will be announced in September.

2018 studentship open competitions

Applications are invited for both the TECHNE and LDOC consortiums. Awards will be available for both full-time and part-time students. AHRC eligibility criteria apply.

In order to be eligible to apply for an AHRC TECHNE or LDOC award, you should apply first to Kingston University by an earlier deadline - see below for more information.
