This four-day course will introduce the key fundamentals in the set up and operation of the Arduino microcontroller. Each day participants will be guided through essential skills, electronic principles, Arduino components and gain confidence using specialism specific vocabulary. Learners will have access to specialist equipment and workshops; by the end of the course they will be able to build their own robot and carry out programming and assembly within the group. Learners will be able to identify the components used and be confident in how to setup and Arduino from scratch. This course is perfect for participants with little or none electronic expertise but who are keen to start their programming journey.
This course is 18+ and aimed at complete beginners.
A basic list will be sent to you a week in advance of the course start date. All other materials are provided by Kingston School of Art (KSA)
This course is taught by the experienced KSA digital workshop team.
We aim to be fully compliant with government health and safety guidelines whilst running short courses at Kingston University.
