- Day 2: Scottish Highlands
Departing Edinburgh by coach, we stop at the atmospheric Doune Castle majestically poised on the banks of the River Teith. We then admire the craggy mountain landscape of Glencoe and Rannach Moor. The day ends with a photo-stop at Loch Ness, where you can start your own search party for Nessie, the infamous Loch Ness monster.
Overnight at Fort Augustus.
- Day 3: Scottish Highlands and Edinburgh
On the final day of your tour, we go to the site of the last highland charge, Culloden Moor, where you will visit Culloden Battlefield. Then it's on to Pitlochry, set under the dramatic skyline of Ben Vrackie. The final Highland visit will be the Hermitage – Birnam Wood in Shakespeare's Macbeth.
