Dr Emma Luce Scali


I hold a doctorate in Law from the University of Nottingham, a MSc in International Relations from 'LUISS Guido Carli' University, and a BSc in Political Science from 'La Sapienza' University of Rome.

Besides my academic role at Kingston University London, I am also Lecturer at 'Roma Tre' University, where I currently teach the course A 'Crisis' for Human Rights? International Law Perspectives, and at IES Abroad London where I teach the course International and European Health and Human Rights.

My current research interests and publications centre around human rights, sovereign financing and the global economic order. My monograph on Sovereign Debt and Socio-Economic Rights Beyond the Crisis: The Neoliberalisation of International Law is forthcoming with Cambridge University Press (2022).
