Dr Fiona Leggat

About

I began working at Kingston University in 2021 as a Research Associate on the NIHR funded LISTEN project. The LISTEN project works closely with people living with or who have recovered from long Covid, to co-design self-management resources for long Covid, as well as a training programme for rehabilitation practitioners to support people using the resources.

Prior to working at Kingston, I completed a PhD in Applied Health Psychology at St Mary's University. My PhD sought to co-design resources with established prosthetic users and rehabilitation therapists to broaden the narrative environment of amputation rehabilitation.

My academic interests include co-design, narrative pedagogy, rehabilitation psychology, implementation science and group dynamics.
