I am currently the Course Leader of our MSc in Clinical Leadership, which is attended by experienced healthcare professionals. Prior to this I worked with Professor Annette Boaz to study the impact and implementation of academic research and worked as a research staff trainer to various UK universities. My PhD in social science to public policy knowledge transfer processes was awarded by Royal Holloway, University of London.
My current areas of research interest are group processes, group analytic psychotherapy, pragmatist social theory, and the complexity sciences. I apply insights from my research to help practitioners work within emotionally charged and conflict-ridden healthcare services. I teach on several modules of our Clinical Leadership MSc.
I am currently training at the Institute of Group Analysis and am writing a book on Clinical Leadership and Complexity.
