I was trained as a social psychologist at the Federal University of Espírito Santo, in Brazil, at graduate, masters and doctoral levels, with a 1-year PhD internship at the Aix-Marseille University, in France. I am currently Associate Professor at the Fluminense Federal University, Brazil, and Visiting Fellow at the Department of Criminology and Sociology at Kingston University. I have worked as Visiting Professor at the Postgraduate Program in Psychology of the Federal University of Espírito Santo, having supervised one concluded doctoral thesis and five concluded masters dissertations. I am a member of the Human-Animal Studies Research Group and Social Psychology Research Group at Kingston University. My research is mainly focused on social representations, social psychology of health, human-animal studies, and veganism.
