I do research in Environmental Chemistry, Water Science and Materials Chemistry. Currently, I am working on projects that aim to develop novel multifunctional materials for the removal of heavy metals and organic contaminants, that also have anti-microbial properties. My PhD (completed in 2019) involved developing carbon-based adsorbents for the recovery of phosphate for reuse as fertiliser.
