Dr Suha Jaradat

Lecturer in the Built Environment and Course Director of BSc Quantity Surveying Consultancy

I am a lecturer in the Built Environment and Course Director on the BSc Quantity Surveying Consultancy degree programme.

I am also a qualified architectural engineer and graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MSc in Design and Digital Media from the School of Arts, Culture and Environment in the Department of Architecture.

Prior to joining Kingston University, I worked as a research fellow and sessional lecturer at the University of Reading where I was also a member of the Design Innovation Research Centre. It was at Reading that I completed my PhD, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), and there that I investigated the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in interdisciplinary practices in the UK and USA.

I have also been involved in larger studies including the London 2012 Olympic Games Construction Project.
