Following a successful career in the fashion industry, working globally in senior Retail Operations roles, I moved into academia in 2015 with a lecturer role at University of the Arts London - London College of Fashion. In 2018, I joined Kingston Business School as a lecturer and then in 2020 became a senior lecturer and course director. I have an extensive range of industry experiences in leading, managing and developing people in a variety of different organisations and cultures along with having developed my own academic knowledge.
I am passionate about bringing together theoretical learning and the realities of HR in organisations to maximise the student experience. I do this through blending a practitioner and academic perspective in my teaching often drawing on my own experiences and insights from my broad professional network.
I am currently Course Director for the MSc International HRM in Moscow (RANEPA) and teach across a variety of HR and business modules. My teaching specialisms are in Leadership, International HRM and Resourcing & Talent Management. I also support and develop sessions in Professional Development. My current subject interests include the use of technology in HRM, D&I and future needs of leaders.
