Mary Hodson

I am currently senior lecturer on the BA(Hons) Top Up degree in Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Practice, a course which enables student to top a relevant foundation degree up to a BA(Hons). In addition, I teach on other Top Up degree courses within the School of Education and on programmes across the faculty (for example the PGCE Primary and Midwifery).

I am also the Liaison officer for the School of Education's Foundation Degrees in Early Years. I work closely with our nine partner colleges in London and Surrey, who deliver the foundation degrees on Kingston University's behalf.

Before working in Higher Education, I was a primary school teacher for a number of years and prior to that I was a Registered Mental Nurse, working in the community as part of a Community Mental Health Team.
