Miss Suchita Hathiramani

Senior Lecturer

About

Suchita is a Chartered Physiotherapist with with many years of clinical experience and is the Moving and Handling Co-ordinator and Senior Lecturer in Clinical Skills for the School of Nursing. Suchita is actively involved in the planning, development and delivery of moving and handling across all nursing programmes and other schools including St. George's University Medical School, and teaches both within the university and in clinical settings. She also acts as a source of professional expertise in moving and handling, providing advice and guidance to members of the Faculty, University, clinical areas and broader community. Suchita is undertaking PhD research at Kingston University and St. George's University of London, and is involved with clinical research, publications and has presented at national and international conferences. She is a member of the Inclusive Health and Well-being Research Group of the HSCE Faculty. Suchita remains working part-time clinically as a Senior in-patient Physiotherapist.
