Mr John Flett

I am the Course Leader for the Aviation Operations with Commercial Pilot Training BSc(Hons) undergraduate course. I have a strong understanding and knowledge of aviation operations and the strategic nature of the airline industry gained from over 26 years working for a major international airline.

During my industry career, I held multiple leadership roles and was involved in projects such as the introduction of Boeing 777-200 and -300 type aircraft into the airline's fleet and the development of the inflight entertainment system for the 777-300.

I remain connected to the aviation industry as an external instructor for IATA (International Air Transport Association) and as a member of the Heathrow Community Trust's 'Communities for Tomorrow' panel.
