About

I'm an experienced BBC journalist, former BBC Academy member, trainer and recruiter. I lecture at Kingston University in Broadcast journalism, and am the Admissions Tutor for the journalism post-graduate modules. I've designed and managed journalism programmes, trainee and apprenticeship schemes and have spent 35+ years in print, broadcast and online journalism. I'm currently studying for my ILT Fellowship (teaching). 

I teach 2 classes: a Level 5 in Broadcast Journalism (BA) and a postgraduate class in Broadcast Journalism that incorporates both the Masters and NCTJ broadcast modules, leading to the NCTJ's Diploma in Journalism.

I work as an assistant editor on the BBC's Online News team in London. I have 30+ years experience as a broadcaster and have worked on many different outlets and teams.
