Mr Matt Zasada

I graduated from Coventry University and began my career at Bristol Royal Infirmary. After brief periods in rehabilitation and respiratory roles I specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Central Surrey Health before joining the Faulty of Health Social Care and Education.

I have interests in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, healthcare strategy, innovation and change management and experiential learning in the practice setting and have taught in these areas on pre and post registration modules both in the UK and internationally

I am the BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy Course Director and was previously responsible for co-coordinating and managing the practice education programmes for pre-registration physiotherapy students.

I continue to undertake a small amount of clinical work mainly in elite para-athletics and have worked with athletes at a national, international and Paralympic level. My specific interest is in the biomechanical assessment and maximisation of athletic performance.
