About

I am a registered Social Worker with a background of social work with children and families.I have been a Practice Educator since 1999 and retain a keen interest in student learning and assessment. I started working at Kingston University in 2003 and initially set up service user and carer involvement for the BA Social Work and then extended this to MSW and PQ Programmes. I taught primarily on Post Qualifying Programmes until 2014, when I moved to teach on the BA Working with Children and Young People course. I work part time and am Course Leader for two Modules and I work with a range of agency partners in coordinating and managing the work experience placements for the student on this course.
