I contribute to the BA Journalism and BA Journalism and Media courses, acting as module leader for magazine journalism as well as teaching classes on feature writing. I am a newspaper and magazine journalist, with more than 12 years of online and print experience. I was most recently head of Arts & Lifestyle at The National, the Middle's East largest English-language news service. Previous positions include digital editor at Vogue Arabia, managing the Life & Style desk at Stuff, New Zealand's biggest news website, and sub-editor of Harrods.com.

Teaching and learning

I am the module leader for Magazine Journalism (JO5006) and Journalism Specialism (JO6021). I also teach feature writing to first years on the BA, as well as work-based learning and employability skills as part of Practical Journalism 3 (JO6001).
