About

I retired from my contracted role as Associate Professor within Radiography, (School of Allied Health, Midwifery and Social Care) specialising in Breast Cancer Screening, Diagnosis and Care, in September 2017. Since then I have held an Hourly Paid Lecturer's role within Radiography, lecture and examine for the NHS Breast Screening Programme and work for the Staff Bureau as an invigilator and role player for the Schools of Nursing, and departments of Midwifery and Paramedic Science, (School of Allied Health, Midwifery and Social Care)

My research interests include the role of the Assistant Practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging, factors affecting the non-attendance of women for Breast Screening and the role of 'Human Factors' in medical errors.
